Application

Before buying Coripa condoms you should take a few moments to find the right condom for you and familiarize yourself with the correct application. Below, we explain how to find "your" condom, what steps are required and how to use condoms correctly.

Size matters

Coripa's recipe for success is as simple as it is effective: our condoms are available in over 50 different sizes, enabling us to offer the perfect condom for everyone – after all, you wouldn't buy shoes in one standard size.

First of all, you have to determine which condom is best for you. To make this process easier, we have developed the Coripa measurement pattern which you can download here. The pattern comprises two measuring tapes complete with brief instructions explaining how to measure the length and breadth of your penis.

Things to remember

  • Only use each condom once and do not use after the use-by date on the packaging.
  • Store condoms in a cool, dry place and keep out of direct sunlight. Both extremely low and extremely high temperatures can damage the condom.
  • Ensure that the condom is sufficiently lubricated and use additional lubricant if necessary. Lubricants used must be approved by the manufacturer for use with condoms. Lubricants containing fat or oil (e.g. Vaseline or vegetable oil) may damage the condom and are not suitable as lubricants.
  • Medication used in the intimate regions could also impair the protective function of the condom. Check with your doctor or chemist before use.
  • For non-vaginal intercourse, there is an increased risk that the condom could slip off or be damaged.
  • Coripa condoms are made from natural latex, which can cause allergic reactions in sensitive people.
  • When used correctly, condoms reduce the risk of unwanted pregnancy and infection with sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV (AIDS). However, no contraception can guarantee 100% protection. Consult your doctor immediately if you suspect an unwanted pregnancy or infection.

The step-by-step guide to correct application

Once you have found your Coripa condom, there are some basic rules you should follow during use. Only when used correctly can the condom offer optimal protection for both you and your partner. Sperm or germs can be transferred even before ejaculation. It is therefore essential that the condom is used before your penis comes into contact with your partner.

1. Unpacking

Let's start with the most important rule: never use damaged condoms, as they can no longer guarantee protection from unwanted pregnancy or infections. Open the foil packaging carefully at the edge and do not use sharp tools such as scissors or knives. Please also remember that finger nails, jewellery and intimate piercings can also cause small tears in the condom.

2. Unrolling

Before using the condom, check which direction it should be unrolled in. Then place it on the end of the fully erect penis and push the air out of the reservoir (tip of the condom) with the thumb and index finger. Now pull the foreskin back and unroll the condom as far as possible. Important: if you notice that you have placed the condom the wrong way round on the end of the penis, dispose of it and use a new one.

3. Withdrawal

Withdraw the penis from the vagina before it starts to become flaccid, holding the condom at the base of the penis. This helps prevent the condom from slipping off. Wash your penis and hands before continuing the fun.

4. Disposal

Please dispose of the condom as household waste and not in the toilet.
